A note to invite you to our next event, a lecture by Prof Graham Ward, Regius Professor of Divinity, University of Oxford, entitled Christian Hope Facing Secular Fatalism.
The lecture will take place at 6pm on Friday 31st January, and will be chaired by Professor Corinna Salvadori Lonergan, Fellow Emeritus. Please note the venue – Regent House, Front Arch, Trinity College Dublin.
The lecture will be followed by a book launch (7pm) of The Church in Pluralist Society: Social and Political Roles, edited by Cornelius Casey and Fáinche Ryan. The book will be launched by the Bishop of Cloyne, William Crean, and chaired by Fr Tom Layden SJ. Contributors include: J. Bryan Hehir, Terry Eagleton, Patrick J. Deneen, Hans Joas, William T. Cavanaugh, Massimo Faggioli, Fáinche Ryan, Patrick Riordan, and Cornelius Casey.
